The Coffee Talk Companion: "Christmas Break."
The Coffee Talk Companion is an ongoing feature in which we dissect and discuss former Facts of Life star Lisa Whelchel's online journal entries.

Those new photos? She's totally had some work done. Something is different about her face.
ITA, her face usually has a very boxy square- jawed, full neck look. Now it looks narrower through the cheek, chin and neck area, with less length and width overall.
I think she had her chin implants taken out and possibly some facial and neck liposuction done. May have had different sized cheek implants done too with a mini-face lift. Whatever it is, it's caused a change in her facial contours and no makeup or lighting can hide the monster jawline she had going for all her professional life. Her mother has the same bone structure and one of her daughters did, until she recently porked up like Lisa did at the same age.
Also looks to me like her teeth are smaller.. maybe she got smaller, more modern caps instead of her chiclet teeth?
She looks... different in that her face has a different shape.. but NOT younger, IMO.
I am starting to despise this hypocritical, money-grubbing idiotic pseudo-saint.
Lisa Whelchel used to look so amazing. *sigh* She should opt for a longer, layered hairstyle, the short style doesn't frame her face as well...that's probably why her face and neck look a bit funny. Also her wardrobe definitely needs an overhaul. She needs some sort of style...if they had a WHAT NOT TO WEAR special for FORMER CHILD CELEBRITIES she would definitely have to be on it. sheesh. Instead of her looking like a dowdy suburban mom...try looking like a "desperate housewife" hahaha oh, what am i saying? haha she's a beautiful woman (although not quite right in the head, ha!) she just needs to look better for f**ks sake!
